Standard Heatco GS burner models require at least 7” w.c. inlet gas supply pressure to maintain the maximum rated firing rate. Larger burner models require up to 1 PSI. Some gas train requirements can increase the pressure drop of the gas train (hydraulic valves, redundant valves, specific components, etc.).
  • Page 6 Standard burners are shipped as natural gas or propane gas, as indicated on the burner rating label. Heatco GS burner models can operate on either gas with only a gas orifice and manifold pressure adjustment. Field gas conversions need to contact the manufacturer for orifices and labels that are to be applied on the burner showing that the burner has been converted to a different gas other than what is stated on the ratings label.
