Step 1: Insert the Battery
Insert the battery pack's bottom end first
(the end with metal contacts), then press
and push the battery pack to snap into the _
controller's battery compartment.
IMPORTANT: Do not connect the charging
cable without a rechargeable battery pack
installed. This may damage the controller.
Step 2: Connect to Controller
Connect to the charge port on the front of
the controller (not supplied).
R Indicator
The charging cable's indicator
lights red while charging, and
green when the battery pack
is fully charged.
Step 3: Connect to Console
Connect to Xbox 360 console's USB port, then turn
on the console (not supplied).
When the battery pack is fully charged, unplug the Recycle Rechargeable Batteries
charging cable from the controller and console.
Note: If you leave the controller connected to the
charging cable after turning off your console, the
console will continue to charge the controller's
battery pack.
