CONTROLS:
1. Volume Control: The volume control acts as a master
volume in that itcontrols thetotal signal level delivered
from all 3 pickups to the output lack. Rotating the
control kr^ob clockwise will increase volume; rotating
CO unite rc lock wise wifi reduce volume.
2. Tone Control: The tone control, IIKethe volume control
acts as a master control. Rotating clockwise will result
in a brighter tonality (more treble). Rotating counter¬
clockwise will result in less treble and a "bassiertype
sound.
3. Pickup Selector Switch: There are three independent
selector switches (one tor each pickup); neck single
coll, on-off. middle single coil, on-off Bndge hum¬
bucking, humbucKing-ofI single coil. Pickups can be
used Indlvjduafiyorin any combination (see diagram).
PICKUP ADJUSTMENT:
Thehelght of the pickups may be adjusted b/turning
the height adjusting screws Oh the pickup trim rings.
Turning the screws clockwise will raise the pIckuDS.
Turning the screws counterclockwise will lower the
pickup.
NOTE:
CARE MUST BE TAKEN TO MAINTAIN ADEQUATE
CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE PICKUPS AND STRINGS.
INADEQUATE CLEARANCE WILL RESULT IN LOSS OP
SUSTAIN AND POSSIBLE STRING BUZZING WHEN
PLAYING ON THE UPPER FRETS. MINIMUM RECOM¬
MENDED CLEARANCE IS

When adjusting pickup height, care should be taken to
ensure that the top surface of the pickup ie parallel to the
string plane, improper adjustment can cause reduced
pickup output and reduced hum cancellation.
The six tnflividuai pole piece screws on the bridge
pickup allow critical pickup adjustment for each string.
Raiding or lowering screws will increase or decrease
sensitivity.
