    INTRODUCTION 1.1 Introduction This user manual describes the Grip S1000 from Grip Lifting Equipment, based in Bergambacht in the Netherlands. The information in this manual plays an important role in ensuring the safe and proper operation of the machine. It concerns the original user manual which was created in the Dutch language by Grip Lifting Equipment (subsequently referred to as the manufacturer).

    The Grip S1000 is a vacuum lifter for placement and movement of flat and non-porous glass panels which are of a medium to large size. The load must be sufficiently stiff to avoid excess bending or warping.
