    B E F O R E F I R S T U S E Open the lid 1. Rinse the following parts with hot water: – Cooking insert – Steaming insert – Rice scoop – Measuring cup – P R E PA R I N G F O R CO O K I N G R I C E Fill the cooking insert with a maximum of 900 g of rice (6 cups) using the measuring cup 8.

    Fill the cooking insert with cold water to the CUP indicator that corresponds to the amount of rice. Example: If you have filled 4 full measuring cups of uncooked rice, fill with cold water up to the "4 CUP" mark. Never fill the cooking insert beyond the 6 CUP marking.
