CONNECTING THE DISCHARGE HOSE Connecting the discharge hose to a siphon The dishwasher connection to the siphon must have a minimum diameter of 1½ inches and be present at a maximum height of 100 cm.     3.5. PREPARING THE APPLIANCE FOR USE 3.5.1. SETTING THE WATER HARDNESS NOTICE! RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE APPLIANCE. Make sure you always set the water softening level to the water hardness in your area. An incorrectly set water softening level in combination with dishwasher salt can cause internal damage to the appliance. The appliance has a water softener that needs to be set to the water hardness in your region.
  • Page 13 3.5.3. ADD THE DISHWASHER SALT NOTICE! RISK OF DAMAGE TO THE DEVICE. • Always clean the stainless steel parts immediately with a soft cloth after topping up the dishwasher salt. Dishwasher salt can damage the stainless steel parts. • Do not use dishwasher salt if the appliance is set to water softener level H1. Due to the hardness of the rinsing water, lime may remain in the appliance after some time.

    5.2. CLEANING THE FILTERS Clean the filters once a week. Turn the filter anticlockwise to unlock the filter system. Press the sides of the mesh filter ring to loosen the mesh filter.
