JUMP STARTING VEHICLES ALWAYS CONSULT YOUR VEHICLE MANUFACTURERS HANDBOOK TO CONFIRM CORRECT JUMP-STARTING OPERATION Note: The battery within the device must be at a minimum of 20% for the jump start function to operate. Ensure all non-essential loads (fan, lights, radio etc.) are switched off prior to commencing the jump starting procedure.
SMART JUMP START CABLES The smart jump start cables include built in safety features to protect against: • Low voltage • Reverse polarity • Short circuit • Over temperature • Overload RED LED BOOST BUTTON GREEN BOOST FUNCTION If with the correct connection between the jumpstart cables and the vehicle battery the red LED light is illuminated and the green LED light is off this indicates a very low voltage in the vehicle’s battery and requires the boost function.
