Super Fox
Start to make the antenna from the base, by
screwing together all sections, as shown on the
picture on the left.
Fix the antenna and connect the wire radials
included in the box, in order to work on 40 m. It is
advisable to add one 10 m long wire radial whereas
a 20 m one for the 80 m band.
Use "at least" 5 m of coax cable between the
antenna and the RTX.
Use the coil of 80 m band "ONLY" if you want to
work on the above mentioned frequency; on all
other frequencies do NOT fix the 80 meter band
coil.
To use the antenna on 2 m (144 ÷ 146 MHz), all
the advanced styles (N° 4 styles) are to be
removed and the entire flowing tube is to be
lowered.
In order to use the antenna in 50 MHz, remove
TWO advanced styles and lower the entire flowing
tube, leaving a space of 1 or 2 mm between the coil
and 2 flowing tubes (approximately ½ link on
sight).

To obtain a better S.W.R. it is possible to adjust
½ link, simply by turning the spider up to the
desired adjustment.
