  • Page 11 Instruction manual Diatron 1500 4. Configuration The Diatron 1500 can be configured directly in the programming menu or via the PC software DT1500_PC. The access to the separate menu items in the programming menu can be restricted via the PC software / web application.

The button can be pressed to change to the next digit. When the button is pressed for more than 2 seconds, the en- tered number is confirmed, regardless of which digit is currently active.

  • Page 14 Instruction manual Diatron 1500 Grading mode / number of grades If the measuring values have to be assigned to grades, this can be activated here and the required number of grades can be selected ( 1 … 30 ). The entered tolerance range is distributed evenly over the selected number of grades.

  • Page 16 Instruction manual Diatron 1500 Freezing the display during a static measurement For static measurements can be activated that the current measuring value is frozen when the DATA button is pressed ( see chapter 5.2 ). When data is requested via the interface or when the DATA button is pressed again, the freezing is stopped.

  • Page 18 Instruction manual Diatron 1500 Auto power off time A time can be selected after which the Diatron 1500 is automatically switched off. Times from 5 to 95 minutes can be selected. For the automatic switch off is checked for how long the measuring value has not changed by more than 0,3µm.

Note : In the programming menu, only the activated measuring inputs ( in the right column ) can be configured, even if the boxes in the middle column are checked.
  • Page 21 Instruction manual Diatron 1500 4.3. Reset to factory settings The Diatron 1500 allows to reset the configuration to the factory settings. For this, the buttons have to be pressed together for more than 2 seconds. Afterwards, all settings are returned to default.

  • Page 23 The display shows the result of the last dynamic measurement until the next measurement is started, a calibration is executed, the programming menu is called or the Diatron 1500 is switched off. If the Tolerance LEDs are activated ( see chapter 4.1 ), the LED that corresponds to the tolerance state of the dynamic measurement result is lighted ( for the selected duration ) after the end of the dynamic measurement.

Afterwards, the Diatron 1500 calculates the new offset and factor. The timer-forced and temperature-forced calibration works as described in chapter 5.3 5.5.
  • Page 25 Please check the settings of the transmitter and the receiver (USB-R2). 6. Interface The Diatron 1500 has a Triple-I interface. This interface allows to transmit measuring values via radio or cable or to change the configuration via a PC software or web application ( see chapter 4.2 ).
