This product has been manufactured using modern production processes and quality assurance measures, because if you are satisfied with your product, our goal has been achieved. Before using this machine for the first time, read these instructions carefully and completely.
  • Page 4 Due to the significant risk of accidents for persons using self-propelled work equipment, training by specialized and authorized persons is mandatory before the initial commissioning of the Kersten work unit. You can familiarize yourself with its basic features and handling by choosing a flat, obstacle-free area for your first use.
  • Page 5 3 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS The instructions given in this manual cannot cover all possibilities. It goes without saying that common sense and caution are factors that must be used by anyone who uses the machine. To minimize the risk of accidents, read the following subchapters carefully. 3.1 I GENERAL INFORMATION This symbol indicates a warning.
  • Page 6 In areas with reduced visibility, stop the machine and check that no one is in the danger zone. Warning and information signs provide important information for safe operation. This is the guarantee of your safety! For transport in a vehicle or trailer, the machine must be stationary and the fuel tap closed! Be careful when rotating or swinging the tool, keep a safe distance! Be careful before working on the machine.
  • Page 7 Do not start the engine before the implement is attached. Do not use starting fluid when using a Booster - Risk of explosion! 3.3.5 During use Check that there are no people or vehicles approaching in the danger zone (10m). Never let go of the control panel while driving! Never leave the control panel unless the tool is stopped! Making adjustments to the tool while it is in use is a source of accidents!
  • Page 8 Never use a high-pressure cleaner on bearings, rotating parts, seals, hubs, etc. After each cleaning, grease the lubrication points, otherwise the warranty will be void! Check that moving parts are free and grease if necessary! After cleaning and maintenance operations, replace all guards! To reduce the risk of fire, keep the machine clean! The tightness of screws and nuts must be checked regularly.

  • Page 13 7 ASSEMBLING THE POWER TAKE-OFF If necessary, cut the cardan transmission. Then put it in place on the tractor side and the implement side, checking that it is correctly locked.
