  • Page 13 Transport and storage Transport and storage In order to ensure a safe transport, storage and operation, please observe the environmental conditions specified in chapter 13.1 Technical description. Transport the height-adjustable bathtub to the intended place of installation. Use a forklift or similar for the transport.

  • Page 22 Operating elements and their function 7.3 Thermostatic mixer/faucet/hand shower NOTE For the setting and the operation of the thermostatic mixer/faucet as well as for performing the thermal flushing, the enclosed user manual of your thermostatic mixer/faucet must be observed.   • Page 23 Operating elements and their function Scalding protection warning with water temperature sensors The tub filling is switched off automatically (option: scalding protection warning), when the filling temperature exceeds 43 °C (scalding protection warning: temperature is displayed alternately with the message “HOT“). If the scalding protection warning is active (temperature is displayed alternately with the message “HOT“), the tub filling cannot be switched on by means of the button (6) or (7) nor can the hand shower be switched on by means of the button (5).

  • Page 25 Operation Operation 8.1 Description of the AVERO Premium plus The AVERO Comfort height-adjustable bathtub is an ergonomically shaped care bath tub in GFK material (plastic reinforced by glass fibers) with a completely closed outer casing. The height can be freely adjusted between 670 mm - 1020 mm through a control panel. The height-adjustable bathtub is freely accessible from three sides and requires little space.
  • Page 26 Operation CAUTION Please make sure that the feet or other body parts of caregivers, patients or third parties are not located under the tub or on the base frame/tub legs during the height adjustment. To move the tub to a height at which the patient can be treated effortlessly and comfortably, press one of the buttons (up/down) on the control panel to adjust the height.
  • Page 27 Cleaning/disinfection Cleaning/disinfection CAUTION Cleaning and disinfection are only allowed when the patient has left the room! Make sure that the system is not in operation during the cleaning process. CAUTION After each treatment, a full disinfection of the tub must be carried out by means of a disinfectant.
  • Page 28 Maintenance, safety check and inspection Maintenance, safety check and inspection In order to ensure a safe use of our AVERO Premium plus height-adjustable bathtub as well as the protection of users and patients, an annual inspection, maintenance and safety check of the appliance is required. This check includes, amongst other things, a visual check for external damages (enclosure, mains connections, readability of labels and stickers, soiling, etc.) as well as the availability and completeness of the documentation.
