Recommendations for operation • Turn off the furnace from the control panel in case of malfunction or poor operation. • If the stove does not start properly, unburned pellets should be removed before attempting to start again. • Never manually throw pellets into the burner pot. •...
Page 8
2 Operation The fuel Duroflame pellet stoves use pellets as fuel. Pellets consist of wood fibres that are pressed together under very high pressure. After that, without any additives, they take on their solid form. Raw materials other than wood pellets must not be burned in Duroflame pellet stoves, not even to light the stove.
Page 9
3 Stove Installation Precautions The installation of the stove must be carried out by qualified personnel. The stove may only be placed in a suitable room, the room must: • Comply with operating and environmental conditions (as described in this guide). •...

(electrical) extractor or heating systems in the same room (e.g. an extractor hood or a wood stove). With all Duroflame pellet stoves it is possible to connect an external air supply. Through this external air supply, the pellet stove uses the outside air for combustion. The combustion of the stove is then no longer affected by the ventilation of the room.

4 Commissioning of a pellet stove First time start-up Caution! When using the stove for the first time, observe the following advice: • The curing process of lacquers is only finished after a few fires on the stove. This curing process may release fumes and odours, which will not be released later.
Page 12
Operation A pellet stove works as follows: The pellet stove has a built-in storage tank for pellets. From this storage tank, the pellets are transported into the burner pot with a screw. A glow plug is used to light the pellets in the burner pot. The air required for combustion is guided past the burner pot by the flue gas blower.

5 User guide SWITCH ON/OFF When the oven is OFF, all LEDs are off. If you turn the knob clockwise, the STATE LED and the first of the POWER LEDs glow green. The STATE LED flashes for 3 seconds to wait for your final selection. After 3 seconds, the device saves your choice and works at the power level you have selected.
Page 17
Read and reset errors The oven is equipped with a number of sensors and control mechanisms that ensure the safe operation of the device. In the event of a fault in one of these control mechanisms, a fault is detected by the furnace controller.

6 Regular maintenance General Maintenance For a long service life of the furnace, it is important to maintain and clean the oven regularly, as described in the following sections. For reasons of (fire) safety, it is necessary to have complete maintenance carried out by qualified personnel after each year of use or every 1200 burning hours.

7 Problems and solutions No pellet supply The stove does not feed pellets. Possible causes: One of the safety sensors is switched on, this can be the maximum thermostat (see component 10.1.7) or the pressure switch (see component (10.1.6). The worm motor (see component 10.1.4) is defective. The screw (see component 10.1.5) is jammed or blocked.

8 Read and reset errors The oven is equipped with a number of sensors and control mechanisms that ensure the safe operation of the device. In the event of a fault in one of these control mechanisms, a fault is detected by the furnace controller. In case of an error, the STATE LED turns red and starts flashing.
