A purple screen with lines on a Samsung LS C39 Series monitor could be caused by the following:
1. Loose or faulty cable connection – Check that the cable is properly connected and the connectors are locked. 2. Incorrect color settings – Change the Color settings to correct screen color issues. 3. Faulty source device or settings – Ensure the connected device is powered on and verify its settings. 4. DisplayPort version mismatch – Set the correct DisplayPort version (System → DisplayPort Ver. → 1.1 or 1.2↑). 5. Run Self Diagnosis – Run the built-in Self Diagnosis to check if the product is working properly.
