14. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter. Ensure that the cord is not in a position where it can be pulled on inadvertently. 15. Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces and do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
PARTS DIAGRAMS ASSEMBLY OF FAN 1. Hold the pedestal and remove the pole nut by turning it counter-clockwise. 2. Insert the pedestal into the plastic base and press firmly into position. The pedestal will now extend from underneath the plastic base. Secure the pedestal and base together by turning the pole nut onto the base of the pedestal in a clockwise direction.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Ensure the unit is on a firm, flat surface. Plug in the unit and switch on the electrical outlet. 2. Use the Speed control buttons to turn on the fan, and to select your desired speed. 3. Tilt the motor housing forwards or backwards to select the direction of airflow. Keep one hand firmly on the pedestal base and use the motor housing only, do not push on the grilles.
