ASSEMBLY Assembling the pole saw Before using the pole saw, a one-time assembly is required. When removed from the box, the two parts are disconnected as shown in photo below. i. Assembling the working head to the telescopic pole handle. When inserted, the working head (A) would have to line up with the telescopic pole handle (B), and must be inserted fully.

PREPARE Lubrication (Chain saw chain oil) Fill the oil tank with 100ml of specialist chain oil(not supplied,available to purchase separately) and keep oil topped up during use. Precautions for safe handling of Chain Oil WARNING Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Only use in a well-ventilated area to prevent build- up of excessive levels of vapour.

PREPARE Remove the bar sheath Install the shoulder strap Fix the hook of the shoulder strap into the lifting lug on the handle pole of the appliance. WARNING! It’s a quick release shoulder strap, the appliance can be removed quickly from body when it’s in emergency.

PREPARE Push pivot button and adjust pole saw head until it snaps securely into place at one of the three positions (0°, 15°, 30°) indicated by the notches. Settle power cord Connect the power cord and extension cord with connectors. Push a loop of extension cable through the space in the handle and fix the extension cord on cord retainer.

OPERATION Switching on/off Connect the garden tool plug to a power supply. Fix the supply cord through cord retainer. NOTE: Grasp the telescopic pole with your left hand and the rear handle with your right hand. To start the blade movement, push the lock-off button (A) and then pull the switch trigger (B).

OPERATION Hold the machine Balance your weight with both feet on solid ground. Your body should always be to the left of the chain line. Grip handle tightly. The most typical cutting application is to position the unit at an angle of 60°or less depending on the specific situation.

MAINTENANCE Motor Cooling To avoid overheating and damage to the motor, always keep the cooling air vents clean and free of sawdust and debris. Adjust the chain tension Always check the chain tension before use, after the first cuts and regularly during use, approx. every 10 minutes. Loosen the bar locking knob (the inner circle) anti- clockwise slightly, but do not remove the side cover.

MAINTENANCE Change the chain and bar Loosen tension wheel (A). Remove chain cover (B) with adjusting wheel together. Fit the chain around the bar ensuring that the direction of the chain is as depicted in the picture on the bar. Fit the Chain slide direction chain on the sprocket.

MAINTENANCE Replace a bar with any of the following faults: · wear inside the bar rails permitting the chain to lay over sideways · bent guide bar · cracked or broken rails · spread rails Regularly inspect the bearing surfaces of the guide bar for damage, turn the saw over, check the underside of the guide bar, and make sure that the lubrication holes and chain groove are free from impurities, if not, clean them with a suitable tool.

MAINTENANCE Transportation Switch the product off and disconnect it from power supply before transporting it anywhere. Ensure guide bar cover is fitted. Always carry the product by its handle. Protect the product from any heavy impact or strong vibrations which may occur during transportation in vehicles. Secure the product to prevent it from slipping or falling over.
