This can be downloaded via www.abb.com/freeathome. The independence from a power supply allows the device to be installed at all locations that make signal transmission possible.

Commissioning Commissioning System requirements The Smart switch must be programmed in an installation with a ABB-free@home ® WL or flexTronics WL device. This WL device then acts as proxy (interface between two participants) for the free@home or flexTronics system. The Smart switch is automatically connected with the actuator channel of the proxy device during commissioning.

The setting “Standard PIN” makes possible the direct access to the device via the app. Notice Commissioning with the standard PIN is not recommended since the device is not protected against foreign access via the app ABB-free@home ® Next App.

Maintenance Maintenance The device is maintenance-free. In case of damage, e.g. during transport or storage), do not perform repairs. Once the device is opened, the warranty is void. Access to the device must be guaranteed for operation, testing, inspection, maintenance and repairs (according to DIN VDE 0100-520).
