Setup Documentation for the 57X Series of handhelds
To connect the reader to the PC use the USB A to USB C cable that is provided with the reader, or mount
the reader in the docking station and connect the USB C cable for the docking station to the laptop.
After connecting the reader should be detected automatically by the software. (If not, check under
device manager if the reader has been detected and the driver is properly installed). Please note that
there are various reader models that have varying functionality. These are listed below:
•
LID 573S – Basic model with no BLE or Temperature Measuring Functionality (Alkaline Batteries)
•
LID 573BLE - Model with BLE Functionality (Alkaline Batteries)
•
LID 574 – Basic model with no BLE or Temperature Measuring Functionality (Rechargeable
Lithium Batteries)
•
LID 574BLE – Model with BLE Functionality (Rechargeable Lithium Batteries)
•
LID 574 T BLE – Model with BLE and Temperature Measuring Functionality (Rechargeable
Lithium Batteries)
The following above screen will be visible once the reader is connected:
