Nickel ActivPanel
This guide will help you get started using the Promethean panel in the classroom.
Center Console Buttons
To turn the panel on, tap the Power button. It will turn white and the screen will turn on.
Accessing the Guest Profile
After the panel is turned on, tap Guest to access the Guest Profile on the panel.
Navigating the Panel
The Unified Menu can be accessed by swiping from the center, left, or right arrows on the panel
screen. Choose Home to return to the main screen at any time.

- Page 5 Substitute Guide – Nickel Promethean Screen Share App (continued) A floating window appears. You may move this anywhere on your screen. You may tap the reset button to generate a new 6-digit panel ID or tap the people icon to enter the waiting room.
- Page 6 Substitute Guide – Nickel Promethean Screen Share App (continued) You can also enter the panel ID and your name within the Chrome extension or the mobile app (pictured below). Then select Start Screen Share. Connected devices will display within the Waiting Room. Tap a device’s name to share a single screen or select up to four devices to share simultaneously.
