  • Page 4 Figure 5 Figure 4 The 55 ton pro is shipped with the UTP (1) in place on the ram’s head. It is used for most applications. If the UTP is ever removed for other applications you must insure that the steel ram puck (2) is in place at all times. It can be used alone or with the UTP but the puck must always be in place at the head of the ram.

  • Page 6 Safety concepts to fully understand before using the 55 Ton Pro press. The 55 ton press has almost 3 times the power and force available compared to the standard 20 ton press. Caution must be used at all times when operating this press.

  • Page 9 Tips for Using your Hydraulic Press Always keep the Polycarbonate safety doors in place. ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY GLASSES OR A FACE SHIELD. Things can always break under the pressures that you are working with. Do not use small daps or punches with urethane pads, it ruins the pad by cutting it, and the punch can eject out of the press if pressure was excessive.
