Health & Safety Guidelines • Always unplug the unit when not in use, before cleaning, or when adding or removing parts. • Always ensure that the voltage on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage in your home. • Incorrect operation and improper use can damage the appliance and cause injury to the user.

• The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, and injury. • The use of an extension cord or separate timer is not recommended with the Muffin Maker. • Use of suitable heat-resistant utensils and oven gloves is recommended for this appliance. Do not use metal or conductive utensils, as these can damage the surfaces and impair future use of the appliance.

Instructions for Use NOTE: When using the appliance for the first time, a slight smoke or odour may emit. This is normal and will soon subside. Allow for sufficient ventilation around the appliance. We recommend using suitable heat resistant oven gloves when cooking with the muffin maker and taking care when opening the lid, as hot steam may emit from the hotplates.

• Make sure the detachable ring assembly is in place before preheating and adding ingredients. • Always keep the lid closed with the rings and cooking plate in place when preheating. • Always wait approximately 2 minutes between cooking sandwiches to ensure the Muffin Maker is heated to the correct temperature.

Electrical Information (Fixed Mains Plug Only) The mains lead supplied with this product is fitted with a BS1363/A 13-amp plug. If it is not suitable for your supply sockets, it must be replaced with an appropriate plug. If the plug becomes damaged and/or needs to be replaced, please follow the wiring instructions on the next page.
