  • Page 35 Loading Media and Calibration Label Media Type Overview This section describes the types of label media you can use with the Vivo! Touch printer. Reflective Mark Media Reflective mark media has black cue marks printed on the top, between labels or on the bottom, on the label liner.

  • Page 47 Common color modes include RGB (red, green, and blue) and CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black). When designing labels that will be printed on the Vivo! Touch, set up your label file in the RGB color mode. Designing in RGB mode will help ensure your colors print accurately on the Vivo! Touch printer.

  • Page 76 Overriding Job Commands Custom QuickLabel and other software applications control the printer by sending host commands to set various print settings. You can set the printer to override some of these commands to prevent applications from overriding settings set on the printer.

For example, by default the print speed specified in a Custom QuickLabel print job will be used instead of the speed selected on the printer.   • Page 103 Accessories QuickPeel The Vivo! Touch prints full-bleed labels, from edge-to-edge, with the help of a “matrix-in” label construction. Matrix-in labels have a die-cut label shape plus an extra “matrix” around the die-cut. The extra matrix is there to absorb any stray toner that might deposit when you print all the way to the edge of your label shape.
