The antenna provides a BNC connector on the inside of the
front disk for connecting a BNC antenna cable (optional).

a microphone stand with a 3/8" or 5/8" thread.
Ferrite core for fixing on the antenna cable.

(Note: To connect the antenna to the transmitter of
the IVM 1 In-ear Monitor System, use the MK A 5
only.)
The antenna has a hypercar-
dioid polar pattern that points
5° to 20° up, depending on
the antenna's distance from
the floor, wall, or ceiling. The
polar pattern is identical in
transmitting and receiving
modes and increases the
"reach" of the antenna.
The main lobe of the hyper-
cardioid pattern is located in
front of the front disk.
