To activate PBC
Press x twice, then press N to start playback.
To deactivate PBC
Press number buttons to select the title during
playback.
z • While PBC is on, press OPTIONS and select "Top
Menu" to display the PBC navigation on the screen.

Playing Sound/Picture Data

Playing Picture CD

Insert CD containing picture data to the TV,
and the file browser appears automatically.

Press F/f to select the directory, then press
to open it.
The subdirectory list appears on the screen.

Rotating the picture

Enjoying Karaoke

Using Karaoke

You can enjoy karaoke by setting this TV to karaoke
mode. You can connect a microphone (not supplied) to
the TV.
• When the input source is TV, USB photo/music/video
or FM Radio, karaoke cannot be used.
• The voice input from microphone is not output from
the audio output jacks of the TV. Neither "Key
Change" or "Vocal Reducer" (page 29) are applied to
the audio output signal.
• In Twin Picture or PIP (Picture in Picture) mode, the
karaoke function cannot be used.

Connect the microphone to the side panel of
the TV.

Select the input source except TV, USB and
FM Radio.

Press HOME and select "Karaoke".

Set the Karaoke mode to "On" (page 29).
• Do not bring the microphone close to TV as howling
may result.
• During a thunderstorm, stop the karaoke function and
disconnect the microphone.
• Do not output sound beyond the ratings of the TV. If
you input a loud voice, the sound may be distorted.
• If you do not use the karaoke function, set it to "Off".
Otherwise, noise may be input from the microphone.
• The Vocal Reducer function may not be effective
depending on the source. If you use Karaoke DVD/
CD, set "Vocal Reducer" to "Off" (page 29).
