1. Description
The HSC 100 SR/OC is a versatile, featherweight
headset with a condenser microphone and dynamic
earphone. With its figure eight pickup pattern and fre-
quency response optimized for speech pickup, the
microphone ensures excellent rejection of ambient
noise. The earphone has been designed for insertion
into the left or right ear for optimum intelligibility and
comfort.
2. Precautions
1. Do not spill any liquids on the equipment.
2. Do not place the equipment near heat sources such
as radiators or heating ducts and do not expose it to
direct sunlight, excessive dust, moisture, rain,
mechanical vibrations, or shock.
3. Use
The HSC 100 SR/OC has been designed for "stan-
dard size" ears. If your ears are larger, fix the supplied
foam ear cushion on the earphone for better fit and
comfort. Try the earphone on with and without the
foam ear cushion to find out which way it fits better
and more comfortably.
Insert the earphone into your left or right ear such that
the microphone arm points toward the corner of your
mouth. If you use the headset out of doors slip the sup-
plied windscreen on the microphone in order to pre-
vent unwanted wind noise.
To take the weight of the cable off the headset, use the
cable clip to attach the cable, e.g., to the collar.
