- Page 4 VSP-Ex System Installation & User Manual General description Introduction The Intrinsically Safe Set for VSP consist of: VSP-5012 Buffer unit for safe area, and operating unit VSP-512 to be mounted in hazardous area. The VSP-512 can call all other units in the total system. Alternative: Buffer unit VMP-5004 / VMP-5008 for safe area, and Operating unit VSP-512 to be mounted in hazardous area.
