Installing internal modules The installation of Sol-PSTN, Sol-2G/3G/4G and Sol-LAN/S optional connectivity modules can be achieved using the connectors integrated into the PCB board and hooks on the back of the control panel enclosure. This operation can be carried out while the control panel is powered (<hot=), without disconnecting the mains power supply or battery. 1. Open the control panel enclosure. 2. Locate the relative connector and placement for the module concerned. - Page 10 3. Programming the Sol-2G/3G/4G Parameter Software section Shortcut 2 Selection menu for the shortcut which is to be activated after the one selected above. Shortcut 2 As per 8Shortcut parameter9 but valid for the 8Shortcut 29 command. parameter Identifies the type of command feedback: SMS - feedback will be provided by an SMS text to the phone number of the caller (command dispatcher). Ring - feedback will be provided on the phone of the caller (command dispatcher). Positive out- come will be indicated by a 8ring9; negative outcome by 8silence9. Confirmation via SMS text or feedback ring will occur only when the phone number that sent the com- mand is not hidden. Buzzer - feedback is provided by an audible signal on the Sol-2G/3G/4G buzzer. Positive out- come is indicated by three short audible signals; negative outcome is indicated by five long audible signals. - Page 11 Caller ID commands Name This is the identification string of the command. Telephone This is the telephone number which, during a call to the Sol-2G/3G/4G, will activate the command. number This field is for the association of a user code (from 1 to 255) to the telephone number. Access Codes The code determines which partitions the phone-number user can operate on. This is the number that identifies the command option selected from the 30 commands programmed in Actions the SMS Commands section. If this option is enabled, when the phone number calls, the Sol-2G/3G/4G will reject the call after gen- erating the requested command. If this option is disabled, when the phone number calls, the Sol-2G/3G/4G will not reject the call but will allow it to proceed in such a way that the control panel can activate (if duly programmed) the dialer after Reject call the programmed number of rings. - Page 12 3. Programming the Sol-2G/3G/4G 3.3 Text for SMS messages In the <Texts for SMS messages= section you can edit and program up to 50 SMS messages with 80 alpha- numeric characters each. These SMS texts can be associated with the events via the 8SMS number9 option, included in the pro- gramming menu of single events. This section, where the SMS messages are listed in a column, contains the following parameters for each message: N°, identifies the number of the SMS message. Text, editable field for the SMS text message. The number of characters available is also indicated. 3.4 Parameters of the Sol-2G/3G/4G communicator In the 8General parameters9 section, it is possible to program some functions relating to the management of the Sol-2G/3G/4G device, such as: low/remaining credit, input and output volume, disablement of tamper protection and the emergency signalling delay. (Seller, Our, Us) warrants the original purchaser that this product shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 24 months. As Inim Electronics does not install this product directly, and due to the possibility that it may be used with other equipment not approved by Us;Inim Electronics does not warrant against loss of quality, degradation of performance of this product or actual damage that results from the use of products, parts or other replace- able items (such as consumables) that are neither made nor recommended by Inim Electronics. Seller oblig- ation and liability under this warranty is expressly limited to repairing or replacing, at Seller's option, any product not meeting the specifications. In no event shall Inim Electronics be liable to the purchaser or any other person for any loss or damage whether direct of indirect or consequential or incidental, including without limitation, any damages for lost profits, stolen goods, or claims by any other party caused by defect- ive products or otherwise arising from the incorrect or otherwise improper installation or use of this product. This warranty applies only to defects in parts and workmanship relating to normal use. - Page 16 4. General information Inim Electronics S.r.l. shall, at its option, repair or replace any defective products. Improper use, that is, use for purposes other than those mentioned in this manual will void the warranty. Contact Our authorized dealer, or visit our website for further information regarding this warranty. 4.5 Limited warranty Inim Electronics S.r.l. shall not be liable to the purchaser or any other person for damage arising from improper storage, handling or use of this product. Installation of this Product must be carried out by qualified persons appointed by Inim Electronics. Install- ation of this Product must be carried out in accordance with Our instructions in the product manual. 4.6 Processing of personal data Sol control panels, by attributing them to installers and users registered with the Inim Cloud service, can be managed through dedicated web pages and/or apps available to both the installer and the end user. In order to allow management of the control panel via Inim Cloud an explicit request is required from the users to whom the control panel is to be associated. As soon as a control panel is connected to a LAN or a GSM/LTE network, it will be available on the Inim Cloud, however, until the association is explicitly requested by a user the data exchanged are: purely technical (in order to allow an association to a user in the future) and do not include any per- sonal data always encrypted free from any correlation with personal data that may already be present in the Inim Cloud The control panel events log becomes available only after associating the control panel with the users and can be viewed chronologically from the moment of such an association. If you do not want to manage the control panel via Inim Cloud and/or do not want to allow any type of con- nection to Inim Cloud in advance, simply disable the connection with the service via programming. 4.7 Documents for the users Declarations of Performance, Declarations of Conformity and Certificates concerning to Inim Electronics ...
