Installation

This ATV Lounger is designed to mount to ATVs with tubular racks. ATV rack styles and dimensions vary by manufacturer and vehicle size. Select mounting locations that best fit your ATV.

1. Position ATV Lounger on the rear rack of ATV. The ATV Lounger should be centered on the rack as shown below. If the back of the rear rack has a vertical section, the rear of the ATV Lounger should be positioned against this section. If the rear rack of the ATV does not have a rearmost vertical section, position the ATV Lounger to NOT extend beyond the rear of the ATV rack.
   
2. With ATV Lounger positioned, locate four appropriate mounting locations to secure the ATV Lounger to the rear rack of the ATV. If possible, locate two of the U-Bolts on longitudinal members of the ATV rear rack and two of the U-Bolts on transverse members of the ATV rear rack. Mounting locations should be similar to the locations illustrated below.
   
3. Once appropriate mounting locations are located, mark the underside of the ATV Lounger along the length of each member that will be used to mount the U-Bolts. Remove the ATV Lounger from the ATV rear rack and position upside down on a level surface. Use a Backing Plate centered over the marked lines as a template to mark the U-Bolt clearance holes for each mounting location. Drill the marked locations with a 5/16" drill.
   
4. Position U-Bolts under ATV rear rack members and lower the ATV Lounger into place, aligning the clearance holes with the U-Bolts at each mounting locations. Extend the U-Bolts through the base of the ATV Lounger and secure each location with a Backing Plate and two Lock Nuts. Each U-Bolt MUST be secured with a Backing Plate. DO NOT substitute with washers or any other component. Tighten each U-Bolt in an alternating pattern to evenly clamp the ATV Lounger to the ATV rear rack. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
