Installation and Use
Installing the Transmitter
1.
Carefully remove the bulkhead or accessory port plug
from the housing.
Remove the nut from the end of the transmitter. Check

that the o-ring on the transmitter and the sealing surface
on the housing are clean.
3.
Very lightly lubricate the visible surface of the o-ring and
the sealing surface of the housing.
4.
Thread the transmitter into the 1/2-20 hole in the top of
the housing being careful not to cross-thread.
5.
Tighten using your fingers only just until it touches the
case. Do not over-tighten.
6.
Re-attach the nut on the inside of the case. While holding
the transmitter in place on the outside of the housing,
tighten the nut snug with a 5/8" wrench
Do not tighten the retaining nut without holding the

transmitter in place. Turning the retaining nut can cause
the transmitter to loosen and break the o-ring seal.
