Installation Guide
Unisin Placement Guidelines
The optimal position for the Unisign is between 80–100 cm from the top
of the unit to the floor, centered in alignment with where the user will
be positioned. Installing the Unisign at this height ensures the system is
effective for both seated and standing users.
Never install the Unisign at head height. If your preferred installation
method deviates from the above recommendations, perform a test
installation to ensure the system conforms to IEC 60118-4 standards.
Mounting Unisin with Velcro Tapes
1. Prepare the surface by thoroughly cleaning it to remove any dust,
dirt, or grease. This step is essential to ensure the adhesive on the
Velcro tabs sticks properly. Allow the surface to dry completely before
proceeding.
2. Attach the Velcro Tabs to the Unisign by peeling off the protective
plastic from one side of the Velcro tabs and placing them at the four
corners on the backside of the Unisign. Ensure the tabs are positioned
evenly for secure attachment.
3. Mount the Unisign by peeling off the protective plastic from the
other side of the tabs. Carefully align the Unisign with the mounting
surface and press it firmly against the surface, applying even pressure

across all points to ensure the Velcro tabs stick securely.
Mounting Unisin with Screws
For accurate screw placement, please refer to the instructions on
the template on the back of this installation guide. Following these
instructions is crucial to prevent damage to the copper threads in the
PCB (Printed Circuit Board).
Other Mountin methods
If you need to use silicon, lue or sealant instead, please follow these
steps:
1. Prepare the surface by thoroughly cleaning it to remove any dust,
dirt, or grease. A clean surface is essential for the adhesive to bond
properly.
2. Apply adhesive by placing silicone, glue, or sealant on the back of
the Unisign or the mounting surface. Press the Unisign firmly against the
surface, applying even pressure to ensure it is securely attached.
