Whichever Model You Are Using...
The compressor is fitted with a timed delay switch
and will not run until 4 minutes have passed.
Once running, allow a minimum of 10 minutes for it to
begin cooling.
Once the desired room temperature has been
reached gradually turn the thermostat knob
anticlockwise (model 1) or clockwise (model 2) until the
machine clicks. The unit will now only emit chilled air
when the room temperature rises.
Finally adjust the fins at the front of the machine to
direct the airflow as required.
EQUIPMENT CARE
Never push the equipment beyond its design
limits. If it will not do what you want with reasonable
ease and speed, assume you have the wrong size or
quantity of air conditioners for the job. Contact your local
HSS Hire Shop for advice.
Keep the equipment clean - you will find this less of a
chore if you clean it regularly, rather than wait until the
end of the hire period.
Only use the air conditioner for the purpose it was
designed for. Improper use may cause expensive
damage and could be dangerous.
Large Air
Regularly check the water drain tank (every 3-4
hours). There is a red warning lamp on the control
panel, which will illuminate when the tank is full. The
unit will also turn itself off.
Conditioner
Set all switches to OFF and leave the unit to stand
for a minimum of 5 minutes before emptying the
tank.
Never remove the tank when the unit is operating
and always ensure that the tank is replaced
