ANCHOR THE SLACKLINE
Wrap the slackline flat over the tree protector and around the tree trunk. Pass the line through the loop and pull, so the line wraps tightly
around the trunk of the tree. To keep the slack line flat, fold in half a portion of the line around the tree, before the point where the line
exits out of the loop. The line should come out through the loop in a V shape (Image 1).
ANCHOR THE RATCHET ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE
Wrap the strap attached to the ratchet over the tree protector, around the tree trunk. Pass the ratchet through the loop with ratchet handle
facing down. Pull and adjust the line so it wraps tightly around the tree trunk. Make the line flat, using the same procedure as with the
other side. The line should come out through the loop in a V shape. Install the ratchet with the lever facing down. Ensure the ratchet is in
closed (locked) position, as shown in the image 4.
FIX THE STRAP BUCKLES AND CONNECT THE SLACKLINE TO THE RATCHET
The ratchet has 3 positions- locked, tension and open. Use the small lever inside the ratchet ("A") and pull towards the main lever ("B") to
move from one position to the other (Image 5)
1. Insert required number of strap buckles into slackline without having any obstacles attached to it (Image 2).
2. Keeping the ratchet in locked position, pass the slackline through the slot in the axle ("C") (Image 3).
3. With the ratchet in closed position, pull the slackline through the axle until the line is taut and there is no slack in the line.
4. Arrange the strap buckles at desired positions for obstacles before tensioning the slackline.
5. Once buckles are arranged and there is no slag in the line, use one hand to hold both sides of the line together.
6. Release the ratchet lever from "locked position" to "tension position". Using the other hand, begin tightening by moving the handle grip
forward and backward.
NOTE: Pull out all the slack in the line before tensioning it with the ratchet. The slackline must not exceed two and a half rotations around
the axle of the ratchet. Over-spooling can cause line to get tangled around the bold and cause system failure.
7. Once the line reaches the desired tension, swing back the main lever and close and lock the ratchet. When ratchet is locked correctly, the
bolt ("D") rests inside the cogging ("E") (Image 6). Also, the lever is fully closed and parallel to the ground. Do not use the slackline until the
ratchet is fully closed and locked.
NOTE: The tension in the line is a personal preference, as long as it does not exceed 38,5 kgs (85 pounds, 375 N)
ENSURE THE LINE IS NOT TWISTED
If the line is twisted, the ratchet might flip over causing injury.

4. USING YOUR SLACKLINE WITH OBSTACLES
1. Install the obstacles (like gymnastic rings, fist holds, monkey bars, etc) with the strap buckles based on your requirements.
2. As a kick-off for the course, the slackline can be set at a height so that users can be on their toes and with minimum number of obstacles
to make them complete the course with a sense of accomplishment.
3. After getting comfortable with slackline, gradually increase the height and number of obstacles making the user suspended above the
ground.
4. Once getting mastered with height and obstacles, space the obstacles further apart and increase the number of obstacles to maximum.
5. DISMANTLING THE LINE
1. Remove all obstacles from the strap buckle. Dismantle the ratchet and slackline with extreme care because the line is under tension and
injury and/or death may occur if not properly dismantle.
2. Pull the inside lever ("A") towards the main lever ("B") to unlock the ratchet.
3. Flip the ratchet right side up.
4. Grip and squeeze the inside and main levers together. Now using your arm, push them both all the way down towards the line, until the
ratchet snaps open. You can now release the line.
5. Remove the strap buckles from the line.
6. Inspect the line for damage. Clean and dry the line, before putting it back into storage.
