  • Page 5 B. Test your alarm In addition to certification according to NEN standards by TÜV, the detector has been tested in a specially designed room in the factory. You can test the detector yourself by pressing the test button, after which the 85 dB alarm sounds. CAUTION DO NOT test your detector using an open flame.

    I. Trouble shooting The detector does not sound when testing: Check whether the detector is activated. The detector beeps every 56 seconds and red LED flashes: The battery is low; the detector needs to be replaced. Contact us to replace it if the warranty is still in place. The detector beeps every 40 seconds and orange LED flashes: Clean the detector, by using a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush and vacuum all sides and covers of the detector.
