The normal
(unoperated)
position
of a
plungeris
that position in which the shoulder
of the plunger
rests
against the buffer plates with
the normally open contacts open and the normally
closed contacts closed.
1.06
The operated position of a plunger
is that
position in which the plunger is depressed
to the limit of its stroke with the normally closed
contacts open and the normally
open contacts
closed.
