FUNCTION The filter must contain a filtering charge which can be sand or glass. The filtering charge eliminates all the waste (larger than the fineness of filtration of the media used) suspended in water introduced by nature or by man. When the multi-way valve is in the FILTER position, the pool water is drawn through the pip- ing system and drawn to the upper part of the filter. -

COMMISSIONING Press the handle of the multi-way valve and place it in the BACKWASH position. ö To avoid damaging the multi-way valve seal, always press the handle before turn- ing it. Prime and start the pump, referring to the manufacturer's instructions. - Page 5 FUNCTIONS OF VALVE POSITIONS SERVICING VALVE Disassembly: Turn off the pump and close the suction and discharge valves. Place the multi-way valve in the FILTER position. Remove the screws from the cover. Remove the handle, cover and plug assembly. Assembly: Place the valve handle in the FILTER position.

MISE EN SERVICE Appuyer sur la poignée de la vanne multivoies et la placer sur la position LAVAGE. ö Pour ne pas endommager le joint de la vanne multivoies, appuyer toujours sur la poignée avant de la tourner. Amorcer et démarrer la pompe en vous reportant aux instructions du fabricant. Laisser la cuve du filtre se remplir d'eau. -

Placer la vanne multivoies sur la position FILTRATION. Retirer les vis du couvercle. Retirer l’ensemble poignée, couvercle et boisseau. Assemblage : Placer la poignée de la vanne en position FILTRATION.

- Page 11 INBETRIEBNAHME Drücken Sie auf den Griff des Mehrwegeventils und bringen Sie es in die Position RÜCKSPÜLEN. ö Um eine Beschädigung der Mehrwegeventildichtung zu vermeiden, drücken Sie immer auf den Griff, bevor Sie ihn drehen. Entlüften und starten Sie die Pumpe gemäß den Anweisungen des Herstellers. Lassen Sie die Fil- terschale mit Wasser füllen.
