Hi!
Has a big nice MDG machine. It hasn't been used for years though. Now it doesn't release the smoke in a nice flow. Smoke, stops after a few seconds, smoke, stop, etc. Could you please help me?
Thanks in advance!!

An inconsistent smoke flow after years of non-use could be caused by one or more of the following:
1. Electronic or Sensor Issues – The machine may show errors like "PCB HIGH" or "WD RESET," indicating problems with internal components or sensors.
2. LCD Display Problems – If the LCD displays strange or no characters, it may indicate loss of settings or internal issues, though the generator may still function.
3. Environmental Conditions – Overheating or poor ventilation could cause performance issues. Moving the generator to a cooler location may help.
4. Blocked or Aged Components – Internal parts like tubing or the fog fluid system may be clogged or degraded due to long-term storage.
5. Incorrect Pressure Settings – The haze output depends on pressure settings; incorrect values can affect flow.
Restarting the generator and checking for error messages is recommended. If problems persist, contact MDG Service.

ROGRAM PDATE The MDG ATMe uses a BootLoader, also called boot manager. This small program is a firmware (software embedded in a hardware device) located into the non-volatile memory of the microcontroller unit (MCU) that allows in-circuit reprogramming of the device using its USB communication ports.
1. Open the service Computer Management (Computer / Manage, see figure below: steps 1 to 4), and connect the USB cable between the MDG ATMe and the computer (see figure below: steps 4 to 5). You will see Windows loading the COM: driver ‡...

To operate, all the control boards need to be powered properly. The MDG ATMe is using an external 24 VDC power supply located and one regulator (5 VDC) on the control board. On the control board, check diodes LEDs V1 (24V) and V2 (5V). They must be lighted.
When error happens, you must power OFF the generator, and wait 10-20 seconds (until the LDC turns off) before powering ON again the ATMe or M3e generator. Do not forget to switch the generator in Unit On Mode, before proceeding.
