Use the provided USB-C cord to charge your blaster. Do not place your charging blaster on any fabric surface during charging. Do not leave blaster charging for an extended period of time, unplug it when the indicator light turns green.
To install batteries, remove the Starfire Activator feedneck by pulling it towards the back of your blaster. Once removed, locate the green door to the battery compartment. Loosen the screw in the battery compartment cover using a Phillips screwdriver and lift. Insert two "AAA" batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment. Follow the markings on the product for correct installation. Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw using a Phillips screwdriver.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN
Fill your hopper with hydrated Gellets – make sure all water is drained from the hopper before installing on your blaster. The Gel Blaster Starfire Activator will accommodate all gellets but will only charge Starfire Gellets for glow in the dark play.
Screw the full hopper into the Starfire feedneck, then flip your blaster upside down to slide the feedneck onto the top rail of the Starfire with the arrow pointing forward.
Make sure you slide the feedneck all the way forward until you feel and hear a "click". Failing to do so will cause your Starfire to misfire.
Your Gel Blaster currently comes with the Standard Barrel pre-installed (175fps). To remove the barrel, use the Barrel Tool provided to unscrew the barrel. You can then install your orange Reduced Velocity Barrel (100fps) for a lighter blasting experience.
Put on your provided eye protection when using your Gel Blaster StarFire. Make sure that others within firing distance are wearing eye protection too! Do not shoot at people not wearing proper eye-wear.
Press the power button on the Starfire Activator. The UV light ring will power on and charge Starfire Gellets during gameplay. Switch between Single and Full-Auto with the Blaster Mode Switch.

STARFIRE ACTIVATOR
Q: My hopper & feedneck keep sliding off and won't feed the Gellets into my Starfire™?
Please make sure your hopper is facing the right direction - the front arrow (on your feedneck) should be facing toward your fins. If installed correctly, the hopper and feedneck will click & lock in place.
Q: My Gellets® aren't shooting correctly and are rolling out of my Starfire's™ barrel?
This is caused by Gellets that aren't full size. To make sure your Gellets are fully hydrated, please allow your Gellets to be submerged in water for a minimum of 2hrs before playing. Longer for Starfire Gellets.
Don't submerge your Gel Blaster in water, and make sure your Gellets are fully strained of excess water. This will protect the batteries and circuitry within from failure.
