Overview

Set Up and Usage Instructions

Set Up and Usage Instructions

  1. Loosen the stem tube clamp bolts with the 5mm hex wrench and push the stem tube onto the fork until it bottoms out onto the fork headset lock nut.
  2. With the front wheel pointed straight forward, the handlebars should be square to the front wheel; tighten the stem tube clamp bolts evenly and securely.

Failure to properly install and tighten the stem tube clamp bolts may cause the rider to lose control and fall. If you do not understand these instructions or the concept of "tighten securely" seek the assistance of a qualified mechanic.

Check Before Riding

Clamp
Using the 5mm hex wrench, check the stem tube clamp bolts to ensure that they are tightened securely before riding.

Wheel and Bearings
Under normal circumstances and conditions Pulse Performance Products™ wheels and wheel bearings are maintenance free. Nonetheless, it is the responsibility of the owner or guardian to periodically inspect the wheels for wear and tear, the axle bolts for proper tightness, and bearings for side-to-side play and loose parts. When a wheel or wheel bearing develops play, this is an indication of excess wear and replacement is necessary. Replace immediately with only genuine Pulse Performance Products™ wheels. Worn wheels and bearings are considered normal wear-and-tear and are not covered by the Pulse Performance Products™ warranty. Wheels other than genuine Pulse Performance Products™ wheels may not be compatible with your Pulse Performance Products™ scooter. The use of anything other than genuine Pulse Performance Products™ replacement parts may affect your safety and will void your warranty.

Cleaning Your Scooter
Wipe with a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust. Do not use industrial cleaners or solvents as they may damage the surfaces. Do not use alcohol, alcohol-based or ammonia-based cleaners as they may damage or dissolve the plastic components or soften the decals or decal adhesive.

How to Ride
To go: Place one foot onto the deck, push forward with the other foot.

To turn: Steer with both hands on the handlebar to turn. For enhanced cornering, lean slightly into the direction of the turn.

To stop: For controlled stops, apply the brake by stepping on the rear fender brake. Pulse Performance Products™ recommends that you practice applying the brake at various speeds and in an open area free from obstructions before riding your Pulse Performance Products™ scooter around people and obstacles.

Wheelies and other stunt-type riding reduces your ability to maneuver and control your scooter. Take the necessary precautions such as wearing appropriate protective gear and practice in an area safe for riding that is free from obstructions.
