CARE AND CLEANING
Remove the power plug from the power outlet and allow the toaster to cool completely before cleaning.
Your toaster will remind you when it's time to clean the crumb tray. To clean any crumbs from the toaster, remove the crumb tray by pushing it in to eject, then pull towards you. Empty and replace the crumb tray before using the toaster again. Replace the crumb tray by sliding it inwards until it locks into position.
Wipe the outside of the toaster with a soft cloth slightly dampened with water, then polish with a soft dry cloth to dry completely. Avoid spraying the toaster directly with any type of cleaner when cleaning.
This product has been designed for household use only. Any professional use, inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instructions will void the warranty.

Initial Startup
- Unpack your toaster and remove any packing materials, including the cardboard insert in the toaster slots. While still unplugged, carefully tilt your toaster and scan the QR code on the bottom to auto-register your toaster for a limited 1-year warranty, or visit www.revcook.com/welcome to manually register your toaster.
- Place the toaster on a clutter-free countertop and plug it into a grounded outlet.
- When the screen turns on, follow the pop- ups to learn more about your Revolution R180 Connect. To set up your Revolution InstaGLO® R180 Connect, press the gear button in the upper right-hand corner. Press "Wi-Fi" and toggle the Wi-Fi button "on" and connect your toaster to your local network. This will automatically set your time, location, and weather. If you do not wish to connect your toaster, you can keep the Wi-Fi toggle "off" and set the time manually, the local weather is not available without Wi-Fi.
Note: Network connectivity is used by your Revolution Toaster to automatically check for software update availability, set the time, and display weather forecast. It is also used to download software updates (only installed with user permission). By connecting your toaster to receive notifications, date/ time, and weather-related information, you agree that we may collect your IP address. Your toaster does not collect or share any personally identifiable information, nor does Revolution Cooking collect or store usage information from your toaster. - Before placing food in the toaster, we recommend selecting "Bread" and level 4 and running two toast cycles. This will prepare the toaster for toasting (don't forget to remove the cardboard insert!).
A mild odor is normal and will subside.
Using your toaster
Place your food in the toaster slots. For bagels and English muffins, insert the slices so that the cut sides are facing inward, as indicated on the top of your toaster.

- Select your food type
Choose from bread, bagel, waffle, English muffin, or toaster pastry. If you're toasting larger bakery-style bagels, use the "Large Bagel Mode" toggle on the bottom left corner of the Bagel setting. If you are using the Revolution Toastie Press accessory, use the "Toastie Press Mode" toggle in the lower left corner when you are on Bread mode for optimal Toastie Press results.
Note: all Revolution InstaGLO ® Toasters have a two-touch safety feature to prevent accidental activation. As you tap through the bread options, the rest of the cooking settings will appear grey and will become active once you tap the large image of the item you are toasting. - Select your food setting
Fresh – for foods you keep on your counter or in your refrigerator.
Frozen – for foods you keep in your freezer.
Reheat – for foods you want to warm up without additional toasting or browning. - Select your toasting shade
Choose from 1-7 for the your toastyness level. The picture will indicate how dark or light your food will be toasted.
Note: that images are for reference only. Shades may vary. Shade selections vary by food type and freshness. - When the START button flashes

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, to avoid risk of fire, electric shock and or injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before operating.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Do not insert body parts into toaster slots. Use touchscreen to operate toaster. Wait until toaster is cool before touching or moving.
- To protect against electric shock, do not immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug in water or any other liquid.
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
- Unplug the toaster when not in use, before cleaning and in case of fault. Let it cool down before cleaning.
- Flashing START button indicates ready to operate. Avoid any contact with live parts.
- Do not use the appliance when the power cord or the plug is damaged or after the appliance malfunctions, or when the appliance has fallen or is damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let power cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
- To disconnect, make sure all controls are turned off, then unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving the appliance if the crumb tray contains hot oil or other hot liquids.
- The use of any accessory attachments other than those specifically designed for this appliance is not recommended by the appliance manufacturer, will void the warranty, and may cause injuries.
- Do not use the toaster for anything other than its intended use.
- Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is plugged in.
- Do no operate unattended.
- Oversized foods, metal foil, packages, or utensils must not be inserted in a toaster as they may create a risk of fire or electric shock.
- A fire may occur if toaster is covered or touching flammable materials, including curtains, draperies, walls, cabinets, and the like, when in operation.
- When heating toaster pastries, always use the toaster pastry setting.
- Do not use the toaster without the crumb tray in place. Do not allow crumbs to build up in the crumb tray. Failure to clean the crumb tray regularly may result in a fire hazard and damage to the toaster.
- To protect the life of the toaster and screen, do not spray directly or douse the toaster with any type of cleaner or solution. Per the care instructions, please only use a cloth dampened by water to clean the toaster.
- Your toaster is fitted with a short power cord to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer power cord. Do not use an extension cord.
- If a longer power cord is used, the electrical rating of the extension cord must be equal to or greater than the rating of the appliance. Care must also be taken to arrange the extension cord so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or pets, or accidentally tripped over. The power cord set of extension cord should be a grounding-type 3-wire cord.
- To avoid electrical circuit overload, do not use another high-wattage appliance on the same circuit with this appliance.
Note: This toaster is electronically controlled and can only be used with at 120-volt power outlet. - Do not modify this appliance.
- Do not try to repair the appliance yourself.
- Never try to put out a fire or flames with water: turn off the appliance, remove the plug from the socket and smother the flames with a fire blanket or any other appropriate means.

Always use toaster in the upright position.
Before each use, make sure that the crumb tray is in its proper location.
Regularly remove crumbs from the crumb tray.
If food jams in the toaster slots while toasting, unplug from the outlet and wait for the toaster to cool before removing the food.
Unplug the toaster if it shows any working abnormalities.
Let the toaster cool completely after running 6 consecutive panini cycles. Allow food to cool for 30 seconds before removing from toaster
DO NOT
Do not leave the toaster unattended during operation.
Do not immerse the toaster in water or run water into the toaster.
Do not place the toaster in the dishwasher.
Do not touch hot surfaces of the toaster.
Do not transport the toaster by grasping the toaster slots.
Do not put body parts in the toaster slots.
Do not attempt to toast foods with ingredients that melt or drip in the toaster.
Do not toast torn slices of bread.
Do not place buttered bread or wrapped food into the toaster.
Do not use this appliance as source of heating or drying.
Do not toast small-size breads, mini-baguettes, breadsticks, etc. in this toaster.
Do not toast foods thicker than one inch in the toasting slots.
Do not cover this appliance while in use.
Do not use this toaster under or around any flammable materials such as curtains, under shelving or wall cupboards, etc.
Do not put paper, cardboard or plastic, or cloth in, on, or under the toaster.
Do not use the toaster for cooking, grilling or defrosting frozen food other than recommended food products (e.g. bread, bagel, waffle, English muffin, toaster pastry, etc.).
Do not unplug appliance by pulling on power cord. Instead grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
Do not wrap power cord around toaster.
Do not insert non-food objects into the toaster.
