Operating Features

  • Multiple preset cooking modes let you choose chips, chicken, steak, shrimp, meat, cake, and fish. Once the mode is selected you can make custom adjustments using the timer and temperature settings. Adjust your time and temperature settings according to the volume of food you are cooking.
  • You can use the automatic shutoff feature or turn the unit off manually by pressing the ON/OFF button.
  • No downtime – your air fryer does not need rest between uses; as soon as you complete one recipe, you can start the next.
  • Reheat food by using a low temperature setting.

How to Use

  1. Connect power cord to the unit and plug into outlet.
  2. Pull the pan and basket out of the air fryer.
  3. Place the food into the fry basket, being careful not to exceed the maximum volume or maximum weight.
  4. Push the pan back into the air fryer.
  5. Press the ON/OFF button.
  6. Press the appropriate function button to choose cooking mode or time and temperature settings.
  7. Press the ON/OFF button once more to start cooking.
  8. You may have to shake the ingredients halfway through the cooking time to ensure even heating. To do so, pull the pan out of the appliance by the handle, shake back and forth, then slide the pan back into the appliance; do not press the release button on the handle while shaking.

    The pan will be hot.
  9. When food is fully cooked, machine will beep 5 times.
  10. Carefully pull the pan out and place it on a heat resistant-surface.

Tips

  • Check for doneness by carefully removing the pan from the appliance. Use caution as the pan will be hot. If the food is not yet ready, slide the pan back into the appliance, adjust the desired time and temperature, and press the ON/OFF button.
  • Oil from ingredients will gather in the bottom of the pan. Do not turn the pan over as the collected oil may leak onto the ingredients.
  • Use tongs to remove large or fragile ingredients.
  • No oil is required to cook with the air fryer. However, if you wish to add a small amount of oil to your ingredients you may do so to achieve extra crispiness.
  • Do not prepare extremely greasy ingredients such as sausages in the air fryer.

Care and Maintenance

  • Unplug the power cord and let the appliance cool before cleaning or storing.
  • Clean the unit as soon as possible after each use.
  • Fryer basket and pan may washed in the dishwasher or cleaned with mild detergent.
  • Use a damp towel to wipe the surface of the fryer. Do not use harsh detergents.
  • Do not place the unit or the power cord into water or other liquids.
  • Always be sure the air fryer is clean before storing. Store in a protected, cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution

Does not work

Power cord not properly plugged in. Plug into appropriate power outlet.
Cook mode not set. Press the button for the desired mode; then press the ON/OFF button.
Not working after cook mode was selected. Press the ON/OFF button after selecting the cook mode.

Timer beeped but food isn't done

Too much food in the basket. Fry foods in smaller portions at a time.
Temperature is set too low. Reset to higher temperature and re-fry food.
Cook time is too short. Reset cooking time and re-fry food.

Did not fry food evenly

Some foods require you to shake the pan during the cooking process. In the middle of the cooking process, carefully pull the pan out and shake it to separate foods; then push the pan back in to continue.

Fried food is not crisp

Some foods require oil. Brush a thin layer of oil on the surface of the food before frying.

Cannot smoothly push the pan back in

The pan is too full. Make sure the food in the basket does not exceed the maximum volume (see the line on the basket) or weight.
The basket is not correctly placed in the pan. Replace the basket into the pan.
Handle is stuck. Lift the handle to a horizontal position.

Smoking

Frying very oily food. Normal phenomenon.
Fryer contains oil from last use. Be sure to clean the pan and basket after every use.

Recipes

Asian Spicy Fries

4 potatoes

2 tsp. oil

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. pepper

½ tsp. red chili powder

Peel potatoes and cut into strips.

Soak potato strips in salt water for at least 20 minutes and then dry with paper towel.

Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder and red chili powder together in a bowl. Stir in the potatoes.

Remove the pan and basket from the air fryer. Preheat fryer at 356°F (180°C) for 5 minutes.

Place potatoes into the frying basket. Place basket in pan. Place pan in fryer.

Set the timer to cook for 15 - 20 minutes (depending on the amount of fries) or cook until the fries are golden brown.

Note: For best cooking results, redistribute fries by removing and shaking the basket in the middle of the cooking process.

Golden Chicken Wings

1 lb. chicken wings

2 garlic cloves

2 tsp. ginger

1 tsp. cumin

1 tsp. black pepper

Pinch of salt

Dash of sweet chili sauce

Remove the pan and basket from the air fryer. Preheat fryer at 390°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

Stir all the herbs, spices and sauce together. Coat chicken wings with mixture and let marinate for 20 minutes.

Evenly place chicken wings into basket. Place basket in pan. Place pan in fryer.

Set timer to cook for 15 - 20 minutes or until wings are golden brown.

Fried Chicken Nuggets

1 lb. chicken nuggets

3 eggs

1 c. flour

1 tsp. olive oil

1 tsp. white pepper

Pinch of salt

Remove the pan and basket from the air fryer. Preheat fryer at 390°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

Pound the chicken to flatten.

Mix all ingredients together and coat chicken nuggets.

Marinate for 20 minutes.

Evenly place chicken nuggets into basket. Place basket in pan. Place pan in fryer.

Set timer to cook for 15 - 20 minutes or until nuggets are golden brown

Fried Lamb Chops

1 lb. lamb chops at room temperature

Dash of brandy

2 tbsp. oil

1 tsp. pepper powder

1 tsp. crushed red pepper

1 tsp. soy sauce

Remove the pan and basket from the air fryer. Preheat fryer at 390°F (200°C) for 2 minutes.

Mix all ingredients together and coat lamb chops.

Marinate for 20 minutes.

Evenly place chops into basket. Place basket in pan. Place pan in fryer. Set timer to cook for 10 - 12 minutes.

Flip chops over, reduce temperature to 300°F (150°C) and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until brown.

Fried Lamb Kebabs

1 lb. lamb, cut up into kebab cubes, at room temperature

1 medium onion

1 egg

1 tsp. cumin powder

1 tsp. chili powder 2 tsp. oil

Remove the pan and basket from the air fryer. Preheat fryer at 390°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

Mix all ingredients together and coat lamb pieces.

Marinate for 20 minutes.

Evenly place kebabs into basket. Place basket in pan. Place pan in fryer.

Set timer to cook for 15 - 20 minutes or until kebabs are brown.

Fried Pork Chops

1 lb. pork chops at room temperature

2 eggs

1 c. corn starch

½ tsp. ginger

½ tsp. garlic powder

½ tsp. chicken flavored soup mix

½ tsp. soy sauce

½ tsp. salt

½ tsp. oil

Remove the pan and basket from the air fryer. Preheat fryer at 390°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

Mix all ingredients together and coat pork chops.

Marinate for 20 minutes.

Evenly place chops into basket. Place basket in pan. Place pan in fryer.

Cook for 10 - 12 minutes.

Flip chops over, reduce temperature to 300°F (150°C) and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until brown.

Fried Squid

1 lb. calamari-type squid, frozen

2 tsp. oil

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. cumin

1 tsp. chicken-flavored soup mix

1 tsp. pepper

Remove the pan and basket from the air fryer. Preheat fryer at 390°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

Mix all ingredients together and coat squid.

Marinate for 20 minutes.

Evenly place squid into basket. Place basket in pan. Place pan in fryer.

Set timer to cook for 12-15 minutes or until squid is brown.

Spicy Shrimp

10 prawns, thawed

2 tsp. oil

1 tsp. minced garlic

1 tsp. black pepper

1 tsp. chili powder

Dash of sweet chili sauce

Remove the pan and basket from the air fryer. Preheat fryer at 390°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

Mix all ingredients together and coat prawns.

Apply a thin layer of salad oil to the prawns.

Evenly place prawns into basket. Place basket in pan. Place pan in fryer.

Set timer to cook for 5 - 8 minutes or until shrimp is crunchy.

Fried Corn

2 ears corn

2 tsp. olive oil

Remove the pan and basket from the air fryer. Preheat fryer at 390°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.

Apply a thin layer of olive oil to the corn.

Evenly place corn into basket. Place basket in pan. Place pan in fryer.

Set timer to cook for 10 minutes.

Fried Dumplings

10 frozen Asian dumplings, thawed

2 tsp. olive oil

Remove the pan and basket from the air fryer. Preheat fryer at 356°F (180°C) for 5 minutes.

Apply a thin layer of olive oil to the dumplings.

Evenly place dumplings into basket. Place basket in pan. Place pan in fryer.

Set timer to cook for 12-15 minutes or until dumplings are golden brown.

Safety Precautions

  • Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal, heat resistant surface.
  • Keep unit clear of any combustible materials.
  • Keep hands and face away from the steam outlet.
  • Do not place unit within 6 inches of a wall, furnishings, other appliances, or other obstructions. The air fryer requires uninterrupted air circulation.
  • Keep both the air inlet and outlets free from obstructions while the appliance is in use.
  • Keep all ingredients in the basket to prevent any contact with heating elements.
  • Do not fill the entire pan with oil as it is a fire hazard.
  • Do not touch the inside of the appliance while it is operating. Doing so may cause severe burns.
  • The pan gets very hot; use caution when removing it.
  • This appliance is designed for household use only. It is not suitable for non-residential uses such as commercial kitchens.
  • Use only electrical connections which are grounded.
  • To avoid electric shock, fire or other accidents, plug the unit into a properly rated AC outlet (127/220).
  • Never use the appliance when any part of the unit or the plug is damaged.
  • The appliance needs approximately 30 minutes to cool down before it is safe to handle for cleaning or storage.
  • Never immerse the unit in water or rinse under the tap; this will damage the electrical and heating components.
  • Keep your air fryer away from liquids to prevent electric shock or short-circuit.
  • Do not damage, alter, pull or twist the power cord. Risk of electric shock, fire and other hazards. Do not plug or unplug the appliance if your hands are wet.
  • Keep the plug clean.
  • Keep this appliance away from children.
  • Do not use with any external timer or separate remote-control system.
