SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Carefully read, understand and follow all warnings and instructions provided in this manual. Failure to do so can result in an accident, personal injury or death. If you have any doubt about the use of this high chair, DO NOT USE THE HIGH CHAIR. Contact Inglesina or your retailer for advice.
- This article meets all requirements covered in ASTM F404-21 Standard.
- READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ASSEMBLY AND USE OF HIGH CHAIR.
- This product can be used for babies up to 36 months of age.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW ALL WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. - KEEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR FUTURE USE.
- NEVER LEAVE THE CHILD UNATTENDED.
- STAY NEAR AND WATCH CHILD DURING USE.
- FALL HAZARD: CHILDREN HAVE SUFFERED SEVERE HEAD INJURIES INCLUDING SKULL FRACTURES WHEN FALLING FROM HIGH CHAIRS. FALLS CAN HAPPEN SUDDENLY IF CHILD IS NOT RESTRAINED PROPERLY.
- ALWAYS USE RESTRAINTS, AND ADJUST TO FIT SNUGLY.
- THE CHILD SHOULD BE SECURED IN THE HIGH CHAIR AT ALL TIMES BY THE RESTRAINT SYSTEM, EITHER IN THE RECLINING OR UPRIGHT POSITION.
- THE TRAY IS NOT DESIGNED TO HOLD THE CHILD IN THE CHAIR.
- IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE HIGH CHAIR BE USED IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION ONLY BY CHILDREN CAPABLE OF SITTING UPRIGHT UNASSISTED.
- DO NOT USE THE HIGH CHAIR UNLESS ALL COMPONENTS ARE CORRECTLY FITTED AND ADJUSTED.
SAFETY
- Never let the child sleep in this product. Should the child fall asleep, then they should be placed in a suitable sleep product that conforms to the applicable federal regulations.
- It is recommended to use the Inglesina «Newborn Pad» for babies up to 3 months of age.
- Before using the product, for the safety of your child, remove and eliminate all plastic bags and elements belonging to the packaging and, in any case, keep the same out of reach of newborns and children.
- Before assembly, ensure that the product and all its components have not been damaged during transport. Should this be the case, do not use the product and keep it out of reach of children.
- Do not use the product if any part is broken, torn or missing.
- Before use, make sure that the product is fully open and that all locking and safety devices are properly engaged.
- This product must be used to accomodate only one child.
- This products is intended for domestic use only.
- Supervise the child at all times when he/she is in the high chair. If you need to leave the room, take the child with you.
- Do not let the child stand up in the high chair or on the tray. The child must stay seated and properly restrained at all times.
- Position the high chair so that the child cannot reach windows, walls, ceilings and false ceilings and cannot pull the chair off balance making it fall by pushing with they/their feet or by hanging on.
- Make sure that the product is placed in a position in which the child is not able to use they/their feet to push against the table or any other structure as this may result in tipping over.
- To avoid injury, ensure that your child is kept away when unfolding and folding the product.
- Avoid inserting fingers inside mechanisms.
- Always use the high chair on a flat and stable surface. Never position it close to stairs or steps.
- Carpets and rugs that are soft or with long loose ends that the high chair could sink into, is an unsuitable surface. Uneven floors could be also an unsuitable surface for your high chair.
- Do not use the high chair when folded: this position is for storage only.
- Regularly inspect the product and all its components to detect any damage and/or tear and wear signs, unstitching and to ensure perfect functionality with time. In case of problems and/or malfunctions of any kind do not use the product. In this event, contact an Authorized Retailer or Inglesina Customer Care Service promptly.
- Be aware of the risks related to open flames or other heat sources, such as radiators, fireplaces, electric and gas stoves, etc.: do not leave the product close to these heat sources.
- Make sure that all possible risk sources (e.g. cables, electric wires, etc.) are kept out of reach of the child.
- Be careful not to place small items, toxic substances, hot objects, electrical wires etc near the high chair where your child can reach them, as they may cause choking, poisoning or other injuries.
- Never leave the product with child seated in it where ropes, curtains or other objects may be used by the child to climb or cause the suffocation or strangling of the child himself.
- Do not place on the tray food that is hot enough to burn child's skin.
- Make sure that:
- your child's arms, fingers and legs are clear of moving parts during adjustment;
- your child's arms, fingers and legs are not entangled or bumped when the high chair is positioned close to the table;
- the table does not present any protrusions or sharp edges which may injure the child.
- Avoid injury from pinching. Keep child's hands and feet clear of armrests and crotch pole when securing tray.
SAFETY BELTS
- Fasten the child in with the safety belts at all times, whether reclined or sitting up, and never leave him/her unattended.
- To avoid serious injury from falling and/or sliding out, always use the safety belts properly hooked and adjusted.
HINTS FOR USE
- Do not lift and carry high chair with the child seated in it.
- Do not let other children or animals play unattended near the product or climb on it.
- Assembly, disassembly and adjustment operations must be carried out only by adults. Make sure that any person using the product (for example baby-sitter, grandparents, etc.) are aware of the correct operation of the same.
- Do not open, close or disassemble the product with the child seated in it.
- In any case, be particularly careful when performing these tasks with the child nearby.
- Pay particular attention while adjusting the seat and the tray when the child is sitting in the high chair.
- When the product is not used, it has to be stored in any case out of reach of children. The product shall not be used as a toy! Do not let the child play with it.
- In case of prolonged exposure to sunlight, let the product become colder before using it.
- Do not use the high chair without the fabric lining; this lining cannot be replaced with another one unless approved by the manufacturer as it is an integral part of the product.
- Do not hang weights or bags to the product: they may unbalance the high chair.
- Do not overload the product with further accessories excluding those approved by L'Inglesina Baby: additional weight may cause the instability or breaking of the product.
- Do not use the high chair as a stepstool or ladder to climb up or reach elevated surfaces.
- Do not allow adults or older children to sit in high chair.
- Do not remove the adhesive and sewn labels. The removal of these labels could result in the product not complying with the law.
- Do not use spare parts or accessories not supplied and/or in any case not approved for this product by the manufacturer.
- This product is designed for domestic use. Do not use in motor vehicles.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- This product requires a regular maintenance by the user.
- Never force any mechanisms or moving parts; in case of doubt, check the instructions first.
- Do not store the product if it is still wet and do not leave it in humid environments since mildew may form.
- Store the product in a dry place.
- Protect the product against atmospheric agents, water, rain or snow; moreover, continuous and prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause changes in the color of many materials.
- Clean the plastic and metal parts with a damp cloth or with soap and water; do not use solvents, ammonia, benzine or bleach. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads.
- Carefully dry metal parts after any contact with water in order to avoid the formation of rust.
- The tray cover is dishwasher safe.
- Tray and tray cover are not microwave safe. Excessive heat can damage the tray. Do not place them in microwave.
- Keep moving parts clean (adjustment mechanisms, locking mechanisms, wheels, ...) and free of dust and, if necessary, lubricate with light oil.
HINTS FOR THE CLEANING OF THE TEXTILE LINING
- Seat cover and harness are surface wash only. Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap; do not use solvents, ammonia or bleach.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads. - Follow the lining washing instructions on the labels.
Do not wash in water

- Dry the textile lining completely before using or storing it.

OPENING
Stand behind the high chair (A) and press the buttons (A1) on the right and on the left at the same time, hold the chair as it opens until it locks in place with a Click.

Before using the product, make sure that it is fully open and blocked properly.

in this seating position, the high chair cannot be used for the child!
(The high chair has this configuration only when the product is unpacked for the first time).

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
To achieve the first utili-sation configuration, lift the seat until hearing both clicks for a correct attachment.
The high chair is designed with 4 different height adjustments.

To lift the seat, hold the high chair and pull the seat upwards: it will position automatically.

To lower it, simultaneously press both levers (A2) and take it to the desired position.

TRAY
To attach the tray (B) position it next to the high chair armrests and use the lever (B1) under the tray to push it as forward as possible.

Always verify that the tray is correctly hooked before use.
Use the lever (B1) to retract the tray as much as possible.

The tray is equipped with an easily removable tray (C) cover that can be washed even in the dishwasher.

If needed, the tray (B) can be easily put away by hooking it onto the slots (B2) located under the rear legs of the high chair.

SEAT INCLINATION
It is possible to recline the high chair into 3 different positions.
Hold the (A3) handle and incline the chair to the wished position.

SAFETY BELTS
Verify that the safety belts are inserted in the eyelets at the height of the shoulders or immediately above. If the position is not correct, extract the belts from the first pair of eyelets and reinsert them in the second one; always use eyelets at the same height.

Fasten the ends of the waist belt to the central buckle.

The waist strap must always pass through the side loops (A4) and, when being used, it must be adjusted in order to properly secure the baby.

Always use the crotch strap together with the waist one, adjusting both of them properly.

The inobservance of this precaution may result in the falling or sliding out of the baby with a resulting risk of injury.
The footrest (D) can be adjusted to 3 positions; simultaneously press both buttons (D1) and take it to the desired position.

To lift the footrest, simply pull it upwards and it shall automatically lock into position.

CLOSING
Use the lever (B1), to take out the tray (B).

For a correct closing, adjust the High Chair height to the lowest position.

Stand behind the high chair and press the buttons (A1) on the right and on the left at the same time, hold the chair as it closed until it locks in place with a click.

Never close the high chair with the baby in the high chair!
Once closed, the high chair stays in the upright position by itself.

Only after closing the High Chair can the tray (B) be parked by attaching it to the dedicated housings (B2), as shown in fig.10.

MAINTENANCE OF THE LINING
It is recommended to periodically remove the lining for proper maintenance of the High Chair.
Remove the waist strap from the side loops (A4), taking care to make the first tooth of the central buckle pass through the side loop before removing it completely.

Detach the press studs (A5) from the sides.

Take out the crotch strap (A6) from the slot underneath the seat (A7). From there, remove the crotch strap from the seat cover (A11).

After reclining the backrest completely, take out both sides (A8) from the side housings on the armrests, pulling them towards the back of the high chair.

Detach the rear velcro (A9) and fully remove the lining of the seat frame, making sure that the side rings (A4) pass through the suitable slots.![Inglesina - MY TIME - MAINTENANCE OF THE LINING - Step 4 MAINTENANCE OF THE LINING - Step 4]()

If necessary, the back straps (A10) can also be removed by pulling them out through the dedicated slots on the lining.

To put the lining back in place, follow the instructions above in the reverse order.

Make sure that the lining has been properly reassembled before use.
