5.5. Transferring Files
To move files to or from a device, you must always ensure
that you use the USB data cable that was provided with the
device. When the device is switched on and connected to
the computer via the data cable, you will see an icon in the
Notification bar at the top of the screen. Swipe down on the
screen to display your notifications and select the Android
System notification. When prompted, select the Transfer
files option and you will be able to transfer files to and from
your computer. You will need to do this every time you
connect your device to a computer for security purposes.
