ABB recommends using a pneumatic, externally operated locking pin for locking, to reduce the risk of collision with the end stop. This also relieves the pressure on the station interchange unit.

    6 Tuning the thermal supervision Thermal supervision The motor units (except MU 80 and MU 100) and the gear units are protected from overload by a thermal supervision. If the motor temperature is close to the defined maximum temperature then the system shows a warning. If the maximum temperature is exceeded then the unit will stop.
