Dado que los generadores refrigerados por aire no pueden operar todo el tiempo, no se recomienda para usos comerciales.     Keep Working Indicaciones antes de operación Desembalaje Saque el generador de la caja que lo contiene: A) Ubique la caja de empaque sobre una superficie sólida y plana. B) Retire todos los accesorios de la caja, excepto el generador. C) Corte las esquinas de arriba hacia abajo y hale cada lado hacia el piso. No está permitido reiniciar usando otra batería. El encendido no debe exceder los 15 segundos continuos. Si el motor no arranca antes de realizar otro intento permita que el motor se enfríe por lo menos por 1 minuto.

    Keep Working Keep Working Introduction This manual contains important safety information and operating instructions, please read this manual carefully. Improper operation may cause in damage to the equipment or the operator. This manual is part of the generator, and must be given to anyone who buys and/or trades it.

  • Page 24: Electrical Shock

    Keep Working WARNING The product belongs to the range of emergency generators. Since air-cooled generators cannot run all the time, their commercial use is not recommended. It is prohibited to modify the condition of the generator and to use it for improper purposes.
  • Page 25 Keep Working The connection should be made by a qualified electrician. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use damaged, deteriorated, frayed, or stripped cords, etc. Do not touch any exposed wires or connections. Please keep the generator dry. Do not use the generator on rainy days.

    Keep Working CAUTION Even if the carburetor has been modified, the generator power will drop as a function of altitude. The power will drop by approximately 3.5% every 300m of altitude. If the carburetor has not been modified, altitude will generate greater losses in generator power.

    Keep Working WARNING Engine oil is an important factor influencing engine performance and service life. Please use four-stroke engine oil recommended in the Maintenance chapter. Before shipment, the engine is free of oil. Before adding the recommended oil, any attempt to rotate the shaft or start the engine may result in permanent damage to the engine and invalidation of the product warranty.

    Keep Working CAUTION ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT - Before starting the generator, turn off the electrical equipment connected to the generator and close the breaker. If electrical equipment is connected, it is difficult to start the generator. Connected electrical equip- ment cannot exceed the maximum generating capacity of the generator. For more details, refer to the equipment data sheet.

  • Page 31 Keep Working If the engine does not start when the starter switch is turned on, turn the switch off immediately. Do not restart the engine until the fault has been determined. It is not allowed to restart using another battery. The ignition must not exceed 15 seconds continuously.

    Keep Working CAUTION If the connected electrical equipment overheats, turn off the equipment and disconnect it immediately from the generator. CAUTION Do not operate the generator at overload. If the generator is being operated above its load capacity, the generator will be damaged and will also affect the connected electrical equipment.

    Keep Working Engine Shutdown A) Disconnect all equipment connections from the generator panel. WARNING Do not shut down the engine when electrical equipment is connected to the generator and they are powered on. B) Run the generator for several minutes without load to allow the generator to stabilize the internal temperature of the gene- rator and engine.

    Keep Working MAINTENANCE PERIOD Before performing maintenance, turn off the generator, disconnect all electrical loads and batteries (if there are any), and allow the generator to cool completely. Perform maintenance in a clean, dry enclosure on a flat surface so that the generator wheels are braked to prevent unexpec- ted movement of the generator.

    Keep Working Do not manipulate the generator conditions under any circumstances. Do not tamper with the generator speed. The correct voltage and frequency have been calibrated on the generator from the factory. Do not tamper with the factory settings of the generator. Failure to do so will void the product warranty. ENGINE MAINTENANCE ENGINE OIL Use oil for four-stroke engines.

    Keep Working AIR FILTER A) Unscrew the locking thread and remove the filter housing. B) Remove the foam element. C) Clean the element in liquid detergent and hot water. D) Wrap it in a clean dry cloth and wring it out to dry it completely. E) Moisten it in clean oil.
  • Page 37 Keep Working WARNING Use the recommended spark plug. Do not use another spark plug with the wrong temperature range. AUTOMATIC IDLE SPEED The idle speed has been set at the factory. Only a few situations require adjustment. Before making this type of adjustment, please contact your local dealer.
