The LoRa LX Speaker is controlled and triggered via
the LoRa LX Gateway interface.
Four individual messages can be recorded on to the
LoRa Speaker which can be individually triggered
via the LoRa Gateway interface.
Opening the Speaker
Carefully remove the front grill by pulling forwards.
Unscrew the four corner screws and part the front of
the speaker from the base. There are wire
connections between the front and rear.
Powering the Speaker
The 12 volt supply to the speaker is made using the
+ red and - black terminals on the rear of the
speaker.
Transfer Unique ID Code from the Speaker to the
Gateway
Power the LoRa LX Speaker.

Set the LoRa

LX Gateway manual) then press and release
the speaker's 'pair' button.
Fixing the Speaker to the Wall
Protect against water during installation.
Fix the mounting bracket to the wall and secure the
speaker to the bracket with the two bolts.
Recording the Messages
Recordings can be made using the on-board
microphone or alternatively by a 1 V p-p line
input using the phono socket. Place the jumper across
the two 'microphone' pins to select the on-board
microphone. Remove the 'microphone' jumper to
select line input.
To Record an Individual 30 Second Message -
Press and hold the 'RECORD' button first then press
and hold the selected channel button 1, 2, 3 or 4.
The green indicator will light.

Record the message for that channel then release
the 'RECORD' button. The recording will stop when
the button is released, or the 30 second time
allowance is reached.
When the recording is completed, the message is
played back automatically.
To Playback the Recording of Each Channel -
Press and release the selected channel button

The volume level can be adjusted using the
potentiometer on the PCB.
