    Usage Notice Safety Information The lightning flash with arrow head within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous volt- age” within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons. The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of import operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.

    Installation Adjusting the Focus (Fixed Zoom Series) The Fixed Zoom Series’ lens is fixed and does not provide a zoom function. To focus the image, rotate the focus ring until the image is clear. The projector will focus at distances from 4.9 to 40 feet (1.5 to 12.2 meters).

    User Controls Image Display Mode There are many factory presets optimized for various types of images. Presentation: Good color and brightness from PC input. Bright: Maximum brightness from PC input. Movie: For home theater. sRGB: Standardised accurate color. User1: User’s own settings. User2: The initial default settings of this mode is from Movie mode.

    User Controls Options Keypad Lock Lock the buttons on the projector top panel. On—a warning message displays to confirm keypad lock. Press Enter on the projector for 5 seconds to disable the keypad lock. Off—projector keypad functions as normal. Background Color Select the desired background color for the projected image when no source is detected.

    Appendices Replacing the Lamp The projection lamp should be replaced when it burns out. It should only be replaced with a certified replacement part, which you can order from your local dealer. Important: The lamp contains a certain amount of mercury and should be disposed of according to local ordinance regulations.
