Software Setup IMPORTANT NOTE: You must install the FireWire 800 and USB 2.0 PCI Express Card drivers prior to installing the hardware in your computer. 1. Insert the FireWire 800 and USB 2.0 PCIe installation CD into your CD-ROM drive. After a few moments, the main menu will automatically start.

Software Setup 3. If you receive the following “Software Installation” notice, click on “Continue Anyway” to continue with the installation process. 4. After the files have been successfully copied over, a window will appear to confirm that driver installation is complete.
Hardware Installation 1. After completion of software setup, shut down your computer and disconnect all connected devices and peripherals. 2. Remove the cover from your computer. Refer to your computer manufacturer’s user manual for details on how to do this. Touch any bare metal portion of your computer case to discharge yourself of any static electricity.
