set
up and operate your
new
saw.
Know the major parts and controls by studying
the illustrations and suggestions in this booklet-then you'll
know
the saw
and do better work.
Always be careful when operating the saw-safe opera-
tion
is
your
responsibility.

THE BLADE SHARP -
A Sharp Blade Is Essential for
Fast,
Free Cutting. When blade pounds, when
stock burns, is hard to push, grabs or
creeps, it indicates that the blade
is
dull
or has lost its set.
Have it
sharpened
by
someone
who
specializes
in
such
work.
A dull blade may damage
the saw or motor and injure the
operator.
