    How to Configure Network Settings for Arcserve Appli- ance To manage the Arcserve Appliance, the first step is to have the appliance in your network. For that, you need to assign a hostname to the appliance and then con- figure network ports.

By default, Arcserve UDP creates a datastore called <hostname>_data_store. This datastore is deduplication and encryption enabled. Notes: The default deduplication block size is 16 KB.
