    Chassis cover There are three parts of the chassis cover you may remove. The diagrams in this section are for reference only. The system layout may vary with models, but the installation steps are the same for all models. To remove the rear chassis cover: Loosen the two (2) thumbscrews on the rear of the chassis.

    You may install 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB DDR5 RDIMM / 128 GB, 256 GB DDR5 3DS RDIMM into the DIMM sockets using the memory configurations in this section. • Refer to ASUS Server AVL for the updated list of compatible DIMMs. • Always install DIMMs with the same CAS latency. For optimum compatibility, it is recommended that you obtain memory modules from the same vendor.

    System fans To uninstall the system fans: Hold the system fan by the notches, then press the latch inwards to release the system fan from the fan cage. Lift the fan, then set it aside. Repeat steps 1 to 2 to uninstall the other system fans. To reinstall the system fans: Insert the fan into the fan cage.
