2. General information 2.1 Charging When charging the bike, do the following steps. ALWAYS read the charging manual before charging. Please check the charger specific manual at www.ridecake.com/manuals to if you have any questions regarding your charger. 1. Make sure that the battery is connected to the bike. 2.
Once the PIN has been changed, write it down and don’t lose it. If you would lose or forget your PIN code has to be reset by the CAKE service team. Your PIN can consist of either 3 or 6 digits. The available digits are 1, 2, or 3.
2.3 Ride- & Brake modes 2.3a Ösa flex Ride mode 1 This riding mode is perfect when navigating crowded roads and top speed is not of importance. It o ers you the best range and a top speed of 30km- h/19mph.
2.3c Brake mode Brake mode 1 This brake mode has the motor brake turned o . When you release the throttle, the bike keeps freewheeling, making for a pleasant experience for casually cruising. Brake mode 2 This brake mode has the motor brake activated when you release the throttle. This will slow you down gradually and can be used for greater control.
2.6 Steering lock The steering lock is engaged by using the bike-specific key that was sent along with the bike. The steering lock is located in front of the bike, on the left side of the main beam, above where the front fork connects to the main beam.
Always use the lock. 3. Ownership and Operation 3.1 Maintenance While CAKE bikes are low maintenance, they will perform best when cared for. To avoid stripping the screws avoid using power tools. During removal, some bolts have Loctite in the threads (example: suspension system, footplate, and center stand).
That means that lights, blinkers and other ”street legal necessities” might differ in look, style and dimensions, everything in order to meet local regulations. The specs, such as range, speed, and power are not estimated by CAKE. The numbers are results from the European homologation test, WMTC-II.
